Help the teary bride Most brides tend to have a teary eye on the d-day, so your first tip would be to use a waterproof mascara and eyeliner. It not only lasts longer, it also stays put when the waves of emotions brings tears the brides eyes. However, if you do not like how your waterproof mascara feels, then you should use the regular mascara and add a coat of waterproof mascara.

Get attention to your eyes - Whatever you do, make sure you shape your eyes by contouring with a matte dark eye shadow. This helps to shapen and define the eyes.

Define your brows - The best part of your makeup as a bride are your brows, so make sure theyre properly defined, and as sharp as they can be. Doing this completely defines your total look.

License to blush - Dont forget to use some blush. Dabbing colour on your cheeks gives you an instant face lift! It accentuates and raises your cheek bones. Find the blush colour that matches you skin tone and you're good to go.

Pop up the lips- Use a lip colour thats bright, so you can appear bright and happy in your photos. Also remember to throw an emergency lip gloss or lipstick (in bright shades) in your purse; you never know if you'll need to touch up, after all the 'You may kiss the bride ' section of the wedding.

Heres a list of must-haves for any bride on your wedding day. Make sure these items are readily packed in a box and are put in care of your personal body guard; the chief brides maid.
